Skills required to successfully perform the role: 

Sound knowledge of map projections, spatial data formats and feature parameters

Qualification and Experience required:

Qualification in spatial sciences or considerable experience with similar responsibilities

 

Minimum two years experience in spatial role with working knowledge of ESRI GIS Products (ArcGIS 10 and 9x), Python, MicroStation/AutoCAD, Image Processing/Analysis software and 3D Modelling. FME experience highly regarded.

Marketing Coordinator

Maternity leave relief role for up to 15 months

 

Your role and responsibilities:

You will be responsible for assisting the Marketing Manager in a variety of tasks and work autonomously on individual projects. Your main responsibilities include:

 

·       Maintenance of the company website, intranet and marketing database

·       Development and coordination of marketing collateral, press releases, newsletters and other materials

·       Assisting in the conceptualisation of marketing strategies, tactics and activities

·       Implementing marketing initiatives and monitoring their success (in particular online activity)

·       Liaising with and managing suppliers, e.g. designers, printers, web hosts, media and merchandise companies

·       Organising marketing events and supporting Sales and Business Development staff in the preparation and execution of road shows & conferences

·       Proof-reading of documents including tenders, PR and ad materials

·       Creating/ updating reports on Marketing activities and website hits (i.e. Google Analytics)

·       Providing support as required to the Marketing Manager

 

To be considered for this role you will have:

·       Strong business acumen, excellent organisational and time management skills and the ability to multitask and work independently with great attention to detail

·       Experience in coordinating projects with external agencies, suppliers and internal staff

·       Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, including good copywriting skills

·       Demonstrated competence in developing and maintaining sound co-worker relationships

·       Software skills: Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint; Photoshop and Adobe InDesign skills are advantageous but not a must

·       Enthusiasm and self-motivation with a passion for marketing

 

To be successful you will also be tertiary qualified in business and/or marketing and have at least 2-3 years experience in a similar marketing or communications role. Experience in B2B marketing in the mining or engineering sector is desirable but not essential.

LiDAR Data Editor

Responsibilities:

·       Computer editing of 3D LiDAR terrain mapping data, involving:

o        Using aerial imagery and other sources of land-use information to classify airborne LiDAR data

o        Producing intensity imagery from airborne LiDAR data

o        Producing basic CAD (Microstation) polygons defining areas requiring special attention

o        Quality Assurance tasks as directed by the supervisor

o        LiDAR administration tasks as directed by the supervisor

·       General office duties

·       Commitment to safe work practices and willingness to embrace the Company’s Quality and Safety Management Systems.

 

Requirements:

·       MS Office (prerequisite skill)

·       Microstation CAD (desired skill)

·       Terrasolid software (training provided)

Aerial Survey Navigators

We are currently seeking experienced, independent and disciplined people to join our growing group of aerial system operators. Your role will be challenging and rewarding operating a range of cameras, LiDAR, and associated technologies on a wide range of airborne projects.

You will be responsible for aerial data acquisition and quality, assist with the maintenance and installation of existing and new technologies, and liaise with project managers, data processors, hardware suppliers and software vendors.

To meet this challenge you must:

• Be able to travel regularly for extended periods of time
• Be comfortable and able to operate precision technology at altitude in small aircraft 
• Be competent with computer software for data transfer
• Have a current passport and drivers licence
• Be able to operate independently without direct daily supervision 
• Be willing to adhere to strict safety practices and policies
