SiteSeeTM is quickly becoming the standard in safety for sites around Australia and the world. SiteSee generates a virtual tour through the use of 360° spherical imaging technology.
This technology supports the pursuit of Zero Harm by increasing the outcomes and accuracy of desktop studies and reducing the need of onsite visits. The 360° views offered by SiteSee enable users to visualise features as if they were actually there. It has been proven as a safe method of visualising hazardous sites and an efficient way of ‘walking through’ a remote site.
The spherical imagery can be accurately georeferenced by a navigation system that is connected to the camera. This permits the imagery to be integrated with GIS or Virtual Earth™/Google Maps™. This convergence of technologies is another example of how AAM’s full service approach delivers integrated spatial solutions.
