Dr Irek Baran
LiDAR Team: New Member
Irek has made the move from academia where he was most recently working on the CRCSI at Curtin University. During his time at Curtin, Irek was also a Research Fellow supported by Australian Research Council grants, a highly proficient programmer and a teacher. In 2005, Irek was awarded the prestigious Divisional award for Best New Researcher of the Year. Irek has numerous technical publications, a patent for his research and development work in GPS multipath analysis and has participated in many national and international conferences. Irek is on the review board for IEEE Transactions for Geoscience and Remote Sensing and the Journal of Geodesy.
Irek has joined AAM’s rapidly expanding LiDAR team.
