SYDNEY, Australia (March 3, 2023) — Celebrated GIS professional Francisco Urbina has joined AAM, a Woolpert Company, as market director, government. Urbina will lead the delivery of government geospatial solutions across the Asia-Pacific region. Bringing more than 20 years of experience to the role, Urbina’s background in building and growing business development extends to the public sector, and includes the engineering, insurance, banking, commercial property, and utilities markets.
Heading national accounts in the region, Urbina will help drive growth and generate opportunities for government clients. These include leveraging the deep foundational spatial data expertise of AAM to help clients develop and implement transformative mapping systems and solutions, employ GIS and geospatial data for evidence-based decision-making, and implement interdisciplinary digital twin solutions.
Urbina said he was eager to apply his full-service spatial transformation skills to his new role.
