AAM Supports the Resilience of Australian Infrastructure through Collaboration and Innovation

AAM, a Woolpert Company’s Managing Director Brian Nicholls and Director of Advisory and Innovation Dr Zaffar Sadiq Mohamed-Ghouse, were thrilled to attend the Launch of RIIS Resilient and intelligent infrastructure systems (RIIS) ARC Research Hub at the University of New South Wales. 

 

The RIIS Hub is a collaborative effort, co-funded by the Australian Research Council (ARC), university, and industry partners, with AAM, a Woolpert Company, as a proud industry partner. As a RIIS Hub industry partner, we will contribute towards important ARC research initiatives.

Brian Nicholls (Managing Director) expressed his enthusiasm about collaborating with the RIIS Hub, highlighting its potential to bring about significant advancements in Australian infrastructure. 

“RIIS Hub offers a unique opportunity to bring together the brightest minds in the field, to foster innovation, and to address the challenges facing Australia's infrastructure. Together, we can drive meaningful advancements in infrastructure resilience and intelligence, ultimately benefiting Australian infrastructure and preparing it for the future.”

Dr Zaffar Mohamed-Ghouse also shared this enthusiasm

“I am pleased to be involved in three Digital Twin Projects as Principal Investigator from an Industry Perspective.”

‘The benefits of RIIS research’, Professor Rajibifard says, ‘will include improved local productivity and urban liveability, as well as increasing the resiliency & safety of our infrastructure. It will also increase our technological leadership, global competitiveness and technology export potential.’
