AAM greatly valued the presentations and interactions at the Australian Institute of Mine Surveyors (AIMS) 2022 National Conference this year.
The AIMS conference provides a terrific opportunity for mining and mining related industries to connect, share knowledge and discuss the latest advancements in the community.
One of the key themes and discussion points from the conference was technological advancements, with particular focus on drones for both above and below ground operations.
AAM Director of Operations Glenn Morrison delivered the sponsor’s address on the second day of the conference. Glenn provided an overview of AAM, highlighted our capabilities, shared what we look like as a Woolpert company and covered our Cross Hybrid Survey Solution Case Study. This case study showcased an South East Queensland Operations aerial survey that utilised both fixed-wing capture and UAV LiDAR/Imagery at the Port of Brisbane.
