Survey for New Multi-Purpose Pipeline Construction
Overview
AAM surveyed the under-construction New Multi-Product Pipeline (NMPP) connecting Johannesburg to Durban, South Africa.

The Challenge
AAM needed to perform both the route pre-survey and the as-built survey with it’s metro location proving to be the most significant design challenges.

The Solution
AAM acquired the project contract to solve the surveying challenges and carry out their other requirements. Having more than 17 survey teams available helped win the tender, thereafter, providing underground detection services to assist with the pipeline’s route design.
The Results
The client received quick, accurate data for both pre and as-built surveys, along with the underground services survey data facilitating their final design.
