Topography Survey for Lesotho Schools

AAM surveyed 24 school sites Lesotho-wide where planned works were due for completion within one month.
The Challenge
Lesotho’s rural schools have understandably extremely limited expansion and upgrade facilities. Significant funding is required for such a project, however Lesotho’s Government received a grant from EFA/FTI Catalytic Fund and Irish Aid as assistance.
The Solution
AAM formed a joint venture with local company Jamale Holdings. Together we tendered for the contract, successfully surveyed the facilities and mapped out the closest access roads. A report was formalised for each school and details were discussed with their respective principals.
The Results
The topography and locations of each school site and their facilities were better-detailed and outlined. All drawings are now issuable to contractors for final cost analyses and construction commencement.
