AAM, a Woolpert Company greatly valued the presentations and interactions at Locate22 last week!
Locate conferences are Australasia’s largest geospatial event and a great opportunity to connect with industry leaders and to share knowledge on recent and upcoming advancements within our community.
Locate22 saw some great contributions from the AAM team.
Daniel Kruimel explored best practice for creating repeatable and replicable data, at higher frequency and with lower costs.
Daniel’s presentation was titled, ‘Big data needs big tools – harnessing geospatial content.’
Ryan Kent examined how the geospatial industry is being impacted and transformed by technology in his presentation, ‘Digital engineering advancements in geospatial.’
Our Managing Director, Brian Nicholls, shared his thoughts in the hub panel session on the drivers that make AAM a sustainable and successful business: ‘Innovation in action: responding to change and generating success for your business.’
Geospatial Data Analyst and Team Leader, Martina Smekalova, competed in Vexcel’s inaugural PixelHack competition.
Martina’s video won her a finalist position, with her pitch winning best use of oblique imagery.
Another highlight for Locate22 was AAM’s Henrique Reis, being awarded a Young Professionals Grant to attend Locate22.
This was part of the event’s inaugural Young Professional Program.
We extend thanks to our clients and colleagues for reconnecting with us in Canberra and sharing their news and ideas.
