Madiba Day 2013 in Cape Town

AAM Africa Cape Town staff celebrated Nelson Mandela’s 95th Birthday by cleaning land for Living Hope. Based in Capri, Kommetjie, Living Hope’s mission is to play a vital role in the prevention, care, treatment and support of people infected and affected by HIV and AIDS and other chronic illnesses. Another mission of theirs is to undertake community development through education, social and health related programs.

The Field of Hope is where AAM Africa staff donated 67 minutes of their time cleaning the field by picking up rubble, clearing the field of weeds and of loose bark caused by fire and tree felling.

Not even the weather could get them down; staff covered up with refuse bags and were more than happy to do their deed for society and honour the 67 years Nelson Mandela devoted of his life for the service and hope of humanity.

Thanks must go to all the AAM Cape Town staff for their enthusiasm.
