Sam Manaf, one of Malaysia’s most experienced Geospatial Consultants, has joined AAM as of Monday 20 January 2014. Sam has been appointed as the Senior Business Development Consultant in AAM for the Asian market, particularly focussing on assisting AAM’s clients with GIS Web Mapping and 3D GIS Solutions.

Sam holds an undergraduate degree in Computer Science and also holds a Masters in Remote Sensing from University of New South Wales, Australia. Prior to joining AAM, Sam was Head of Software Development Division in Malaysia Centre For Remote Sensing (formerly known as MACRES). He has worked with several companies within the Geospatial industry for more than 15 years. Sam has kept a good connection among government agencies and authorities and he is well known in Government regulations and procedures for projects.

Sam will bring a vast amount of experience and knowledge to AAM, which will assist in truly meeting our client’s needs. His immediate role will be to help the large number of Malaysian organisations currently using AAM’s LiDAR, image and mapping data to better utilise their investment in spatial data.
