During the month of May, the Woolpert Walkers stepped up for sick kids, joining the Australian-wide Super Steps Challenge with community partner the Starlight Children’s Foundation.
In Woolpert’s second national challenge for Starlight, our team, the ‘Woolpert Walkers,’ stepped up to the plate, exceeding step goals and raising $3,474 for Starlight programs. Super Steppers Paula Thrussell, Kevin Yan, Gail Vitarelli, Osama Hourani, Alexandra Hall, Laura D’Altera, Steven Henderson, Christopher Blackstock and Matthew Williams joined forces to secure Woolpert’s #12 position on the Super Steps team leaderboard.
Melbourne-based Starlight hero and Star Stepper Gail Vitarelli has ranked in the top 100 individual leaderboard for 2024, exceeding her 16,000 daily step target to raise $1,520. “Never underestimate the important work done by Starlight,” shares Gail. “You will be rewarded knowing that each step you take on the challenge will help to put a smile a child’s face, creating a positive, happy environment to aid in their recovery.”
