Celebrations are underway this week as AAM has just attained external ISO27001 certification in Australia. This 12 month journey to enhance our Information Security Management System (ISMS) and culture has been rewarding. Our third party certification formally confirms AAM complies with the ISO standard 27001:2013 with the scope of our certification comprising the “hosting and management of custom web mapping solutions (Saas Platform)” for our operations in Perth, Sydney, Melbourne, Wollongong and Brisbane. As our Geosolutions offerings expand so will our ISMS and all of its supporting policies, procedures, registers and auditing activities. This is a significant achievement, a strategic investment and a sound risk management process to embrace the needs and expectations of our clients.
