What a wonderful night celebrating the powerhouse women, and incredible talent that are transforming the Australian tech community, at the Women in Digital Awards Gala in Brisbane earlier this month.
Congratulations Peta Hyam, Woolpert LiDAR Production Manager, Asia-Pacific region, on being named Data Leader of the Year finalist, in this year’s Women In Digital Awards.
The Data Leader of the Year Award, powered by Shell Energy Australia, recognises a distinctive business leader who is transforming organisations and enhancing decision-making through the use of #Data.
Peta is constantly looking to push the envelope when it comes to efficient data processing, looking to innovate across software, processes and workflows to enable high performing teams and produce quality geospatial data.
As LiDAR Production Manager, Peta works closely with her direct team in Australia and Malaysia, and across other Woolpert teams, processing and analysing up to 6000 km² data each month. Peta is responsible for ensuring the day-to-day operations of LiDARnetics – Woolpert’s trademarked AI-based LiDAR processing system, and continues to innovate and problem-solve to unlock efficiencies.
Built on the idea that ‘you can’t be what you can’t see,’ the Women in Digital Awards spotlights women in digital industries and diversity champions, driving a growing movement built on connecting, educating, and empowering women in their careers.
We are beyond proud of Peta and commend her on the nomination. A hearty congratulations to all #WIDAwards category winners and finalists.
